Q. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located at 1382 Hertel Ave., Buffalo, NY 14216. Just look for the black tinted windows featuring the Sweat Society logo. You’ll want to enter the gym through the doors at 1376 Hertel, the new home to Modern Nostalgia.

Q. WHERE CAN I PARK?

Parking is available on Hertel Avenue with paid meter Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. There is also additional free parking on Saranac Avenue and North Park Avenue.

Q. DO YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE FOR ME TO PUT MY BELONGINGS DURING CLASS?

We have cubbies to store your items in should you want to.

Q. IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AT [SWEAT] SOCIETY?

Yes! We believe in yummy snacks that can be taken on the go. We have a smoothie bar that features smoothies, electrolyte drinks, coffee and proteins bars.

Q. DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

Yes. We use the MindBody for the scheduling of our classes. It’s a super simple process and should take you less than 1 minute to setup.

Q. WHAT TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS DO YOU OFFER?

We offer 1, 5, 10, 20 class passes and unlimited month/open gym memberships. We also offer an open gym membership and private one-on-one training. Additionally can accommodate special events.

Q. DO I HAVE TO BUY A PACKAGE OR A MEMBERSHIP?

Some people are scared of commitment. We get it! We offer a single class pass but hope you love the vibes and workout enough to keep coming back.

Q. WHEN DO CLASSES BECOME AVAILABLE TO BOOK ONLINE?

2 full weeks of classes become available for booking every Monday at 7 AM.

Q. HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?

If you were looking to take a class that seems to be full, add yourself to the waitlist. Should someone cancel, the list moves up automatically and will enroll the next person in line. If you are moved from the waitlist into the class you will receive an email and text notification right away.

Q. HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

We’re sad to see you go but if you decide to please email info@sweatsocietybuffalo.com and we'll help you to cancel your membership.

Please note that any payment scheduled 1 month from your email request will be processed.

If you have an AutoPay Membership that you wish to cancel please email info@sweatsocietybuffalo.com to do so.

Our policy states: If a client chooses to cancel their AutoPay Membership, all payments that are scheduled during the next 30 days following the cancellation request, will be processed. This is our standard policy and no exceptions are made. You are receiving a discounted rate because you are on an AutoPay Contract.

Q. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive at the studio at least 5 minutes before class for check-in. If it’s your first class we recommend arriving 15 minutes early so we can meet you, show you our gym and set you up for an amazing workout.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Whatever you feel comfortable sweating in.

Q. WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET THERE?

Say what’s up to whoever is at the front desk and mention that it is your first time. They’ll get you taken care of.

Q. WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE?

If you are running late please give us a call so that we don’t release your spot to someone on the waitlist. To be respectful of others, there will be no entry five minutes after the class has started.

Q. SOMETHING CAME UP. CAN I CANCEL?

Your babysitter cancels, you get stuck at work late, you’re not feeling a workout for the day. Life happens and we get it. We ask that if you need to cancel class, please do so 8 hours prior to your class time. This allows us to notify those who were on a waitlist that they have been added to the class.

You can cancel your class by clicking on the “My Classes” tab. If you do not show for you reservation, or if you attempt to cancel online after the 8 hours before your class, you will lose the class.
